In an attempt to restore the company’s reputation, Elaine Wynn is proposing an immediate restructuring of the Wynn Resorts board of directors.
Her request comes after she and her ex-husband, former Wynn Resorts Chairman Steve Wynn, formally announced a settlement of court claims in a breach-of-contract civil lawsuit.
Regulators continue to investigate the company’s handling of sexual misconduct allegations against Steve Wynn.
Elaine Wynn - the company’s largest shareholder - is asking the board to reopen the window during which shareholders can nominate directors, although she says she does not plan to nominate herself.
