Nevada is now an official Sister State of Queensland, Australia.
Governor Brian Sandoval signed an agreement this week with Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk.
The five-year Sister State Memorandum of Understanding is intended to encourage joint cooperation between the two states across a number of industries - including technology, renewable energy, and tourism.
