A $58 million project for the Interstate 15 and Garnet Interchange in North Las Vegas will begin next month.
The project is designed to improve safety and mobility around the Apex Industrial Park.
The Las Vegas Sun reportsin addition to the interchange, U.S. Highway 93 will also be widened from two lanes to four. Other work will include the reconstruction of a frontage road and enhanced intersections at Apex Great Basin Way, Apex Power Parkway and Grand Valley Parkway.
Ames Construction is the general contractor on the project and Horrocks Engineers is the lead designer.
