Flood Control District Gets Approval To Move Culvert Near Stadium

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District has received a permit to build a flood channel at the site of the new Raiders stadium.

The Army Corps of Engineers approved the permit at the 63-acre site at Russell Road and Dean Martin Drive.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the Corps signed off on plans to move a flood-control culvert about 150 feet - to clear the way for construction of the 65,000-seat domed stadium.
