Washoe County District Attorney Chris Hicks says he’s seeking re-election next year.
Hicks announced in a news release Wednesday that four years is not enough time and there’s still work to be done.
Before his stint as district attorney, Hicks spent 12 years as a prosecutor in Carson City and Reno.
His father, Federal Judge Larry Hicks, also once served as the Washoe County District Attorney. The primary election is set for June 12.
