Two Democratic Assembly Members Announce They're Not Running For Re-Election

Two Democratic Assembly members have decided not to run for re-election in 2018.

Irene Bustamante Adams and Amber Joiner both have said they will not run due to financial constraints.

Bustamante Adams led the Assembly Democrats ahead of the 2016 election and was named speaker pro tempore in the 2017 legislative session.

She was first elected to the state Assembly in 2010. Amber Joiner is from Reno and has represented her district since 2014.
