A special committee is set to review the curriculum taught in Lake Havasu City’s schools in the coming weeks.
The Havasu News reports committee members are being asked to compare state standards with the textbook and other materials offered to Havasu students.
At its last meeting, the school board struggled to identify who would sit on the committee and how to best address the issues.
Board members also faced questions about politics, as several audience members encouraged the district to embrace Arizona’s conservative ideals.
