Nevada’s Attorney General, Adam Laxalt, is turning to two seasoned political operatives to help run his campaign for governor.
The Nevada Independent reports they include Kristin Davison, who previously served as campaign manager for Alabama Republican Senator Luther Strange, and Stephen Puetz, a consultant who worked on Senator Ted Cruz’s 2016 presidential campaign.
It isn’t yet clear what roles the two will play in the campaign.
Laxalt announced his bid last week. He’ll be competing with State Treasurer Dan Schwartz and bike shop owner Jared Fisher in the Republican gubernatorial primary.
