2 Las Vegas Companies Listed In 'Paradise Papers'

Two Las Vegas casino operators are in a list of names and companies with ties to President Donald Trump who have incorporated, or have holdings in, off-shore accounts.

A German newspaper has printed the information from some 13 million documents leaked by an off-shore law firm.

Among the companies listed is Bermuda-based Interface Operations Bermuda Limited, which provides private jet services to Las Vegas Sands Corp.

That company’s president and shareholder is Sheldon Adelson.

The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists reported Sunday that in 2016, Adelson gave an estimated $82 million to various Republican candidates and causes around the country, in addition to $5 million to help pay for President Trump’s inauguration.

The documents also name Wynn Resorts as holding several offshore accounts related to its operations in Macau.

The ICIJ said that information had previously been disclosed in filings with the Security and Exchange Commission.
