Super PAC Sponsoring $1M Ad For Gubernatorial Candidate

LAS VEGAS (AP) — A conservative super PAC is sponsoring a million dollar ad campaign for Attorney General Adam Laxalt who recently announced his bid for governor.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Friday that the ads by the Freedom Partners Action Fund super PAC will be aired on broadcast and cable television networks and multiple digital and social media platforms over the next three weeks.

It will be the first political ad the PAC pushes out for the 2018 cycle.

Laxalt launched his campaign on Wednesday with current Gov. Brian Sandoval exiting the office at the end of his term.

He will be facing Nevada Treasurer Dan Schwartz and local bicycle shop businessman and political newcomer Jared Fisher in the Republican primary.
