The Country Music Association is apologizing after trying to censor media questions about the mass shooting in Las Vegas, gun rights or political affiliations at its awards show next Wednesday.
Following a backlash by artists, the CMA said today the restrictions in their media guidelines have been lifted.
Brad Paisley is co-hosting the show, and called the restrictions “ridiculous and unfair.”
