Federal safety regulators say two workers were killed in an accident at a northern Nevada gold mine Tuesday.
Once was a safety coordinator and the other a mine trainee at the Marigold Mine northwest of Battle Mountain.
Seven other trainees who were riding in a van that was run over by a haul truck were also taken to the hospital but subsequently released.
