September Gaming Revenue Up More Than 3 Percent

State gaming revenue was up 3.25 percent in September compared to the same month a year ago.

According to figures released Tuesday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, revenue was up everywhere in the Las Vegas Valley except the casinos on Boulder Highway.

Revenue rose 4.67 percent at casinos on the Las Vegas Strip, while was up .02 percent in downtown.

Nevada set a record for sports betting volume at $558.4 million. The previous record was set in November 2015 of $557.4 million.

Based on September’s gaming revenue, the state collected $58.8 million.
