Las Vegans could start receiving deliveries by drone within a couple of months.
Vegas Inc. reports that Ohio-based company Workhorse created the drone called HorseFly and demonstrated the device in Las Vegas recently.
It would have a docking station on a delivery truck and be used to speed up deliveries along the truck's delivery route, saving time and fuel.

Workhorse is teamed up with UPS for the HorseFly project.
Before the project can go forward, the company has to get approval from the Federal Aviation Administration to allow the drones to fly out of sight of the operator.
