CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — A 74-year-old inmate who was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder at Carson City's state prison has died.
The Nevada Appeal reports that Samuel Blake died on Tuesday at the regional medical facility inside the prison.
Blake was committed from Clark County in August 1980.
Officials are in the process of conducting an autopsy. Blake's family has been notified.
