The Washoe County School District’s capital funding protection committee approved a bond to build three new schools.
The committee approved the $200 million bond in a 9-to-1 vote Thursday evening.
According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, the committee members were concerned about the cost of constructing the new elementary school and two middle schools, but ultimately approved the bond.
