A board set up by state lawmakers this year to help develop clean energy in Nevada is starting to come together.
The Washoe County Commission today is nominating Nevada Assemblyman Jason Geddes to the board. Geddes has a Ph.D in environmental sciences and is the energy and sustainability manager for the Washoe County School District.
In August, the Clark County Commission nominated five people for consideration.

The nine-member board will include one member each from Nevada’s two largest counties, one member from the remaining rural counties.
