NDOT Announces More Road Closures As Project Neon Progresses

As crews continue work on the Project Neon freeway improvements, the Nevada Department of Transportation announced more road closures this weekend.

The ramp linking northbound U.S. Highway 95 to northbound Interstate 15 will close from midnight Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

NDOT officials said as a detour, drivers headed north should exit northbound Las Vegas Boulevard and then turn left on Washington Avenue to access I-15.

Workers will be repaving the ramp, installing new barrier rails and restriping the traffic lanes. Project Neon is a $1 billion project to widen the Spaghetti Bowl freeway interchange of I-15 and U.S. 95 through Sahara Avenue by July 2019.
