The annual Lake Tahoe Summit, where officials discuss progress on various environmental projects taking place at the lake, is taking place Tuesday just over the border in California.
It's the 21st annual holding of the event.
This year's meeting will address climate change
President Obama spoke at the event last year, praising efforts from Nevada, California and the federal government in keeping Lake Tahoe's waters clear.
Both of Nevada's senators – Catherine Cortez Masto and Dean Heller – are expected to speak at the summit tomorrow, along with Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval.
California's two senators are also scheduled to give remarks.
