A Clark County School District police lieutenant fired after revealing his position as an FBI informer will be re-hired and given more than two years of back pay.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that an arbitrator has ordered reinstatement for Dan Burgess, with wages and benefits dating back to the day he was fired -- March 27, 2015.
Burgess’ attorney says pay for that time frame exceeds $197,000. A previous ruling determined Burgess was wrongfully fired. He was one of multiple officers working with the FBI in a corruption investigation.
