Five Arrested In Las Vegas From Federal Sting

Five people were arrested in Las Vegas as part of a federal sting on gangs that resulted in 1,400 total arrests nationwide.

Immigration officials are calling it the largest gang surge in its investigative history. The six-week operation ran from March 26 to May 6, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said four in Las Vegas were tied to local gangs and the fifth was affiliated with a Chicago group.

Three were arrested on criminal charges and two on non-criminal immigration violations. More than 900 of the 1400 arrests were U.S. citizens.

How is Las Vegas' healthcare system really doing, and what does it mean for you and your family? Desert Companion's Health Issue takes a deep dive into these questions and explores how heart-centered business leaders prove that doing good benefits the bottom line.
