Thousands of union members are expected to take part in a May Day March today in Las Vegas.
The May Day March Coalition is made up of more than a dozen unions and advocacy groups, and is demonstrating support for worker and immigrant rights.
Organizers expect up to 7,000 participants in the march, which is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the corner of Spring Mountain Road and Las Vegas Boulevard.
The entire march is expected to last about 45 minutes. The Nevada Department of Transportation issued a traffic control permit for restrictions along Flamingo Road.
