The Oakland Raiders have closed on the purchase of 62 acres west of the Mandalay Bay resort, which lays another brick in the path for the team to relocate to Las Vegas in time for the 2020 NFL season.
The purchase price listed in documents posted today in the Clark County Recorder’s Office was $77.5 million.
The land includes four parcels between Russell Road and Hacienda Avenue and between Polaris Avenue and Dean Martin Drive just west of Interstate 15. Terms of the deal have not yet been released.
