Economic impact reports suggest UNLV and Las Vegas got more bang for their buck by hosting the third and final presidential debate of the 2016 election than expected.
The Las Vegas Sun reports organizers originally figured the debate would bring around $50 million in economic benefit to the area, but now it appears $114 million in impact was received.
UNLV and the LVCVA spent $7.5 million to hold the event, and made just under $1.5 million in gross revenue from the debate.
