McCarran Sees Busiest September On Record

Officials in Las Vegas say the airport clocked its busiest September on record this year.

Transportation authorities said Thursday that more than 4 million people flew in and out of McCarran International Airport last month, a 7.3 percent increase over the same period last year.

The Clark County Department of Aviation says the nation's ninth-busiest airport has tallied 35.6 million passengers through September, putting it on track to beat last year's 45 million.
