Nevada students are starting to get the results of their Common Core tests from last school year.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports scores were due to students by Aug. 1 of this year, but the contractor who handled the tests did not release scores to the state until now.
The company in question – Data Recognition Corporation – had signed a contract worth more than $50 million with Nevada to implement the tests and handle data collection.

It's the second straight year where Nevada's standardized tests have had problematic implementation.
In 2015, online testing infrastructure kept failing, and most Nevada students were unable to take their tests.
