Mohave County, Bullhead City Unemployment Rates Fall

The rate of unemployment in both Bullhead City, Arizona and Mohave County dropped last month.

The Mohave Daily News reports the county's unemployment rate fell by nearly half a percentage point to 7 percent from July to August.

Bullhead City itself saw a similar drop, going from 7.8 percent unemployed this July to 7.1 percent in August.

Both are marked improvements from this time last year.

Bullhead City saw unemployment near 9 percent in August 2015, as did Mohave County.

Colorado City, the municipality along the border with Utah that is home to the FLDS, reported unemployment of 10 percent.
