An organic grocery chain based in Colorado is expanding to Southern Nevada in August.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Natural Grocers will open locations in North Las Vegas and Henderson August 9.
Like other specialty stores, such as Whole Foods and Sprouts, Natural Grocers sells USDA-certified organic produce, meat from animals raised without antibiotics and dairy items that come from cage-free facilities.

The stores planned for the Las Vegas valley will also host nutrition classes with a certified health coach.
The company employs more than 3,000 people in 19 states.
A Reno location opened in 2014.
