Protestors March At Laxalt's Office Over SCOTUS Immigration Decision

Protesters are criticizing Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt for signing on to a case that challenged President Barack Obama's deportation relief effort.

A group of several dozen demonstrators who chanted and carried banners saying "Deport Laxalt" marched into the lobby of his Las Vegas office on Thursday.

Laxalt did not come out to speak with them, but issued a statement earlier saying a 4-4 Supreme Court decision was a victory for the rule of law.

Nevada is one of 26 states challenging the unilateral immigration action Obama made after he said Congress wasn't acting on immigration reform. Obama's order would have prevented deportation for millions of people in the country illegally.

A 10-year-old girl at the protest started crying when she told reporters that her parents could now face deportation.
