The end of an era began this week as MGM Resorts began to roll out paid parking at some resorts on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Bellagio and MGM Grand are next, starting Wednesday.

Mandalay Bay and Delano get the fees starting next Monday, June 13.

Parking costs are capped right now at $10, and those with valid Nevada drivers' licenses are exempt from the charge until the end of the year.

Part of the revenue collected will go toward a new parking structure to serve MGM properties and the T-Mobile Arena.
