The attempt to bring major league hockey to Las Vegas is at a possible tipping point.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reportssources say National Hockey League’s executive committee is meeting to decide in New York Tuesday whether to expand to for Las Vegas and Quebec City. NHL officials would not confirm the Tuesday meeting.
The league’s Board of Governors meets in Las Vegas on June 22, where members will vote on the committee’s recommendations. Approval requires 24 votes.
