Las Vegas Sands, Jacobs Settle Wrongful Termination Suit

Las Vegas Sands has settled a long-running lawsuit filed by a former China-based executive.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Sands and its former Macau operations head, Steven Jacobs, reached a confidential settlement.

The company’s China operation disclosed the settlement in a filing with the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

Jacobs’ attorney in Las Vegas and a Sands spokesman confirmed a settlement had been reached, but they didn’t give any more details.

Before the settlement, Judge Elizabeth Gonzalez was set to preside over a trial later this month in Clark County District Court.
