Battle Over Silverstone Golf Course Water Continues

We have an update to a story we've been following for several months.

The fight over water at the Silverstone Golf Course continues.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the water is once again off at the property.

If you recall last fall, a new ownership group took control of the golf course and promptly shut the water off.

That led to a court battle from residents, who argued not maintaining the course affected their property values negatively.

A judge ordered the water back on, but because the new owners filed for bankruptcy, the ruling became moot.

There will be a hearing on the issue in July, but lawyers representing homeowners at Silverstone want it moved up.

They argue waiting until July would cause further damage to the golf course, thereby making it harder to restore to its original condition.
