Judge Orders Silverstone Golf Club To Be Restored

A federal judge has made a ruling in a case involving the Silverstone Golf Club.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports U.S. District Court Judge Richard Boulware ruled yesterday that the new owners of the property must restore it to the conditions it had when purchased in September.

Homeowners in the golf club took owners Desert Lifestyles to court after the company purchased Silverstone and then stopped watering and maintaining the course.

Judge Boulware said homeowners faced harm and the loss of property value as a result of Desert Lifestyles' decision to cut off water to the course.

Desert Lifestyles plans to appeal the decision, and seek a stay on making any payments for course repair and maintenance.
