Candidates Notch Notable Endorsements In CD-3, CD-4 Races

Former president Bill Clinton threw his support behind State Rep. Ruben Kihuen in his bid to win the Democratic nomination in Nevada's 4th congressional district.

Clinton made the announcement Tuesday in a statement, calling Kihuen a "progressive champion."

The Democratic race in CD-4 is crowded, with Kihuen running against Bernie Sanders-backed Lucy Flores and philanthropist Susie Lee.

Meanwhile, in neighboring congressional district 3, Democrat Jacky Rosen won the endorsement of the Culinary Union Wednesday.

Rosen's main competition for the Democratic nomination is lawyer Jesse Sbaih.

Whomever wins the primary will run against the Republican nominee seeking to fill Rep. Joe Heck's seat.
