Wynn Resorts Announces Expansion Project

Wynn Resorts has announced plans to expand on the Las Vegas Strip.

Vegas Inc. reports the new Wynn Paradise Park – as it is being called at the moment – will be built on the golf course between Wynn and Encore.

As proposed, Wynn Paradise Park would feature 1,000 hotel rooms, convention space, a casino, and other amenities.

The resort is also scheduled to have fireworks displays and would operate something like a theme park with paid admission.

A lagoon is set to be the focal point of the property, where visitors would be able to take part in a variety of aquatic activities.

The project could have a price tag north of $1.5 billion, and it needs to be approved by the Wynn board of directors before proceeding.
