Southern NV Gets Homeland Security Grant

Southern Nevada is getting $2.9 million from a national homeland security grant.

U.S. Rep. Dina Titus said Tuesday that the Las Vegas area would receive funds from the Department of Homeland Security's Urban Area Security Initiative.

The money will go toward terrorism prevention and response training for law enforcement and community groups.
