A former Clark County elected official is due to face a judge on a drunken driving charge following his arrest last month in Las Vegas.
Tom Collins is due Monday in Las Vegas Justice Court on a summons issued following his arrest late Dec. 11 in a vehicle while leaving the National Finals Rodeo at the Thomas & Mack Center.
The 65-year-old former Democratic state lawmaker and Clark County commissioner lives in North Las Vegas.
He resigned in August from the commission, citing unspecified family matters.
