Reno Macy's Store Not On Closure List

After less-than-stellar performance over the holidays, Macy's will cut more than 4,500 jobs, but a store in Reno is not on the closure list.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports the company announced a restructuring plan that includes the layoffs and reassignments yesterday.

However, the Reno Macy’s store in Meadowood Mall is not on the chopping block.

The company plans to lay off or relocate about 3,000 associates in stores, offices and a call center.
