Officials in Elko are looking for area hotels to back the annual National Cowboy Poetry Reading.
The Elko Daily Free Press reports the event is in need of sponsorship to remain sustainable.
The Elko Convention and Visitors Authority is suggesting hotels donate $5 for each room they have to the event to help provide it with some more cash.
The newspaper reports if every hotel in Elko participated, some $12,000 could be raised.
