Utah To Investigate Refugees Settling In State

The head of Utah's state police says he plans to assign an investigator to keep an eye on refugees settling in the state.

Department of Public Safety Commissioner Keith Squires says that the detective would join the team of state workers who help refugees find housing and work after coming to Utah.

The step comes after Utah's governor called for a review of the vetting process for refugees from Syria and elsewhere following the Nov. 13 terror attacks in Paris.
