State Assemblyman James Oscarson announced today he is running for re-election.
The Republican, who represents district 36, released a statement saying, in part, he was "proud" of legislation passed during the previous session, and felt he still had work to do.
Oscarson was one of 13 Republican members of the state Assembly who voted in favor of Gov. Brian Sandoval's commerce tax funding education in Nevada.
