DraftKings Logos Won't Be Seen At World Series Of Poker

World Series of Poker watchers won't be seeing the logo for daily fantasy sports site DraftKings when the tournament returns to Las Vegas starting Nov. 8.

A spokesman for the annual poker contest owned by Caesars Entertainment Corp. confirmed DraftKings asked that its logo be removed from the poker table felt and on-stage signage during the event's final matchup.

The request comes after Nevada regulators determined daily fantasy sports sites constitute gambling and ordered them out until the businesses obtain a gambling license.

DraftKings has been a year-long sponsor for the tournament including sponsoring one of the 68 events in the series.

The three-day final face-off between nine remaining poker players vying for $7.7 million starts Nov. 8. It's being broadcast by ESPN which has an advertising partnership with DraftKings.
