Upon arrival, officers initially found the aircraft but no pilot.

KSNV-TV in Las Vegas reports that pilot was located and declined medical treatment, saying he only had a sore back

According to Goodwin, the aircraft was helping to gather cattle when it ran out of fuel.

The pilot was forced to make a hard landing because of wind.
