Smoky Smell Alerts Fire Crews At McCarran

Fire crews responded to an incident at McCarran International Airport this morning after people reported smelling smoke.

The Las Vegas Sun reports the call came in around 5:30 a.m. near the TSA checkpoint at gate C.

The troublesome odor came from a faulty lightbulb, officials say, and neither damage nor disruption to flights took place.
