Authorities say a 33-year-old ex-convict who showed up at a Las Vegas hospital with a gunshot wound has been arrested in the shooting death of a man who fell or was pushed from a vehicle.
Records show that Andrew Curry was arrested Thursday on murder and felon in possession of a weapon charges in the slaying of 27-year-old Kelvin Andrew Gibson.
Gibson was found in the street early Tuesday in a southwest Las Vegas neighborhood. He was later pronounced dead at University Medical Center.
Police say Curry was treated for his wound and arrested after questioning. Police also found the vehicle in which detectives believe the shooting took place.
A motive for the slaying wasn't disclosed.
A lawyer who has represented Curry in the past didn't immediately respond to messages.
