Celebrity Chef Kerry Simon Dies At 60

Celebrity chef Kerry Simon died Friday, according to multiple media reports.

He was 60. Simon suffered from a severe form of Parkinson's disease called multiple system atrophy and was recently moved into hospice care.

Simon was dubbed the “Rock ‘n’ Roll Chef” by Rolling Stone Magazine. He had several restaurants in Las Vegas including Simon Kitchen and Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, KGB: Kerry’s Gourmet Burgers at Harrah’s, downtown’s Carson Kitchen and Pork & Beans at the Container Park. 

He also had restaurants in Los Angeles and Atlantic City.
