Persons In Officer-Involved Shooting Identified

Those involved in an officer related shooting in Las Vegas this past weekend have been identified.

The Clark County Coroner's office say 57-year-old William Lee Snider of Las Vegas died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Metro said officers Michael Walters and Charles Moser opened fire after a neighbor reported Sunday morning that a man was walking out of a house with a rifle.

Police said the SWAT team had warned the man as he was getting out of the house to drop the weapon, but he instead raised and pointed it at officers.

An investigation is pending but 53-year-old Walters and 46-year-old Moser are on paid leave. They started working for the department in 1998 and 2000, respectively.
