Nevada voters -- the few who turned out -- made history last night, electing Republicans to all statewide offices and handing them the majority of seats in both houses of the legislature for the first time since the Great Depression.
The Republican sweep stunned experts, who had expected the GOP to pick up the state senate and win some statewide offices.
Nevada's results mirrored national trends. Republicans won control of the U.S. Senate, ousting Sen. Harry Reid from his post as majority leader.
How did Republicans engineer such a massive victory? And what will they do with their majority when the legislature convenes in February?
