Nevada's Democratic leaders want to make sure they are called by the proper name.
Secretary of State Ross Miller, a Democrat, last week directed county clerks and voter registrars to get rid of any ballots or other materials that reference the "Democrat Party" and instead use the official name, the "Democratic Party."
A few in the Republican party said they use democrat party to distinguish the party from the democratic process.
